About us
Impact on Education is the Foundation supporting nearly 30,000 students and 4,000 educators of the Boulder Valley School District. Since 1983, we've provided supplemental funding and resources to students and educators in order to expand what's possible in education. Impact on Education believes in an equitable future for public education across Boulder Valley School District. We strive to equalize opportunity and bolster academic success among all students regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender, or class. Through this work, we hope to increase awareness of underserved populations, galvanize community engagement, and create lasting change for the students in our community. We are thrilled to announce the winner of the 2024 Imogene Maxon New Teacher Award: Ash Mattys from Fairview High School! 🏆🍎 Her nominator shared that "when you're in Ash's class, one is quick to forget that we're in an English class. If you don't keep an eye open, you'll swear you're in an after-school student club, self-help seminar, college literary society, and journalistic roundtable all rolled into one." 👏 Congratulations, Ash! Thank you for your commitment to education and for being a shining example of the positive change one person can bring to our community. Here's to many more years of inspiring and nurturing young minds! 🌱✨

It was positive and exciting to learn more about Impact on Education, and the volunteer team was energized, positive, and varied, which was great to experience and be part of." Emily volunteered for a session of mock interviews with students in our Career Readiness Academy. These workshops help Boulder Valley School District students build confidence and prepare for real-world challenges ahead.
